This is an original 1984 color print of three rails: the Water Rail (top), found from northern Europe to Japan; the Bogota Rail (middle), found in the marshy areas of Andean lakes in South America; and the Kaffir Rail (bottom), found in marshy habitats of southern and central Africa.

Period Paper is pleased to offer a group of lovely color prints of birds of the family Rallidae. Commonly called rails, they are small-to-medium sized birds which are mostly associated with marshes or wetland habitats.
