This is an original 1887 photogravure of American actor, Edward Loomis Davenport (1816-1877) as Sir Giles Overreach in Philip Massinger's comedy A New Way to Pay Old Debts, Act IV, Scene II. Attached is a brief descriptive note about the scene --please see both images.

Each photogravure includes a separate page of descriptive text, with halftone images, about the play and/or the actor.
