1888 Chromolithograph 16th Century Italy Dress Renaissance Clothing Fashion LCH3

This is a rare original 1888 color chromolithograph which offers a glimpse into some of the popular Dutch and Italian female fashions from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, as depicting in paintings from several Italian museums. Due to the popularized reddish-blond hair color in the paintings of Titian, many Venetian women took to bleaching their naturally dark hair to a lighter, more fashionable shade.
