White Rock Beverages.

The White Rock Beverage Company was first founded by H. M. Colver, a pharmacist of Waukesha, Wisconsin, in 1871. The company's origins stemmed from Potawatomi Native American Indians, who believed that the White Rock natural spring held medicinal powers; thus the spring became a hotspot for tourists and health seekers. It wasn't until five years later that the company actually began bottling the sacred water. By 1923, White Rock Beverages was among the largest manufacturers of mineral water in the United States; though, the company also produced ginger ale and other carbonated sodas. In 1941, the company's name was changed to the White Rock Mineral Springs Company. Today, the company is located in Whitestone, New York.

Psyche Logo:

Psyche was a creature of Greek Mythology, portrayed with butterfly wings (as psyche also means butterfly in Greek), thus giving the mythical character a fairy vibe. It is said that Pysche was the youngest daughter of the king and queen of Sicily, as well as the most beautiful in the land. Psyche was frequently associated with White Rock, as images of her were often featured in the company's advertisements. The Psyche logo is extremely popular among collectors.

Fun Fact:

White Rock was first to use the modern Santa Claus (red and white clothed old man) in their advertising. The company first featured the modernized Santa in its mineral water advertisements in 1915. Coca-Cola is usually credited with inventing the modern Santa Claus.
