This is an original 1913 black and white wood engraving of the statue of Frankish King, Clovis I. Clovis succeeded to the throne when he was fifteen in 481 CE and was also appointed a Roman official to Gaul at the time. He was the first Frankish King to convert to Catholicism and his statue is found at the Church of St. Genevieve in Paris, France.
