This is an original 1953 black and white halftone print of a reconstruction of the Early Iron Age farmhouse located in Little Woodbury, Wiltshire, England. The site was excavated in the late 1930s by Gerhard Bersu who had been commissioned by the Prehistoric Society in order to discover a deeper understanding of early British villages.
