Pedro J. Lemos (1882-1954) is from the "craftsmen era." He is most well known for his color block prints witch he produced during 1915-1925.

Pedro Joseph Lemos

Pedro Joseph Lemos (1882-1954) was an American artist hailing from Austin, Nevada; however, he received his formal art education at the Art Students League of New York, the California School of Design (Mark Hopkins Institute) and Columbia University. He was most recognized for his etchings, paintings, printmaking, illustrations and graphic art designs. LemosÕ works primarily centered on figures and landscapes. His art has been exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Carmel Art Association, of which he was also affiliated.
