1945 Print Plane Vidar Ruin Destruction Pilot Clark Field Japanese Battle FZ7

This is an original 1945 color print of the destruction of an Allied plane in the Philippines. The caption writes, "A colossal wreck of a U. S. A-20, around which stand the lone and littered airstrips of Clark Field. What the U. S. built, Japan took over for a brief moment of berserk imperial might." The Clark Air Base is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and was used by the United States air force by 1903 to 1991.
