This is an original 1963 color print by Rafael Montes de Oca of a member of the Thalurania Luciae Hummingbird family, found mostly in Honduras. The featured plant, Mormodes maculatum, commonly known as the Spotted Mormodes, is found around Xicotepec de Juarez in the Medican state of Puebla, and flowers in the summer months.
