This is an original 1928 monochrome rotogravure of Ken Maynard who was an American motion picture stuntman and actor. He worked at carnivals and circuses before serving in World War I. After the war he returned to show business as a circus rider with the Ringling Brothers. When the circus played in Los Angeles Buck Jones encouraged Maynard to join show business and signed on with Fox Studios.
