This is an original 1899 halftone print of a young bride from Oud-Beierland. The original was painted in pastels and created by Thérèse Schwartze who was born in Amsterdam and became a Dutch portrait painter. She has work in the Jewish Historical Museum and in the Rijksmuseum.
