This is an original 1917 black and white in-text wood engraving of a World War I political cartoon by British artist and cartoonist, Sir John Bernard Partridge (1861-1945) satirizing President Wilson's "Peace without Victory" speech in which he advocated for a peaceful solution to World War I.
