This is an original 1875 black and white woodcut of an illustration by French artist Alphonse de Neuville which depicts King Henry IV of Navarre (and later of France) at the Battle of Ivry, leading a Huguenot army against forces of the Catholic League. The end result was a successful victory for the Protestants.
