This is an original 1950 sepia photogravure of the Beagle Channel which is a strait that is located in the Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina, South America. The Beagle Channel separates smaller islands from the larger main island of Isla Grande de Tierra.
Tierra Del Fuego (Land of Fire) is separated from the rest of Argentina by the Strait of Magellan and was first inhabited by the Selk'nam Indians about 10,000 years ago.
