This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the Great Wall of China, the Great Water Gate, and portraits of Hsu-Shih-Chiang, and Sun-Yat-Sen. The Great Water Gate is located at the southern entrance of Beijing (Peking). The caption for the image writes, "It is a spot humming with industry and teeming with life and activity. Following the Boxer Rebellion the place was held under the control of the American troops in Peking."
