This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the terraced ridges of the Philippines, formed after centuries of farming; huts in Igorrote; and a bull cart on the Island of Cebu. The caption for the hut writes, "Igorrote hut in a mountain province. Nineteen out of every twenty dwellings are of thatch, and the frame and floor of bamboo."
