This is an original 1883 photolithograph of "Married to an Old Maid", the fifth in a series of eight paintings by William Hogarth (1697-1764) entitled "A Rake's Progress" or "The Rake's Progress" that portrayed the wedding ceremony of "spendthrift" Tom Rakewell to St Marylebone.
