This is an original 1924 two-color cover for The Youth's Companion magazine, July 17, 1924, that features a quote about child labor from Caleb Peaslee that reads; "If young folks would only remember that any job that's goin' to amount to anything can't be done in a minute, there wouldn't be so many half-finished pieces of work in the world, mebbe. One clip with a sharp axe will lop off a birch saplin', but it takes a good many clips with the same axe to fell a tree with lumber in it - but when you git it down you've got somethin'."
