This is an original 1925 color cover for The Etude Music Magazine. This cover shows a young woman having a piano lesson with a male teacher behind her, pointing to the music she is playing with a pencil. There is a metronome swinging on top of the piano, and the color tone of the entire cover is sepia. The bottom right of the illustration reads "An Important Lesson", and the couple at the piano are surrounded by a lovely symmetrical floral frame. The bottom margin reads in two lines "Mme. This 86+ year old Item is rated Very Fine / Fine+. Moderate aging throughout. Moderate wrinkling. No natural defects. Some light surface rub. 1/2 inch tear - left margin. Light water stain - top right corner. There is slight tearing at the four separate corners where the paper has been removed, and another .25 inch (in length) tear the bottom right margin.
