Howard Baer
Howard Baer (1906-1986) received his art education from the Carnegie Institute of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Baer worked in various mediums and genres, and served in World War II as a Navy ÒWAVESÓ painter. Baer exhibited at the Carnegie Institute, the Corcoran Gallery and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He was a professor at the Parsons School of Design, and contributed to various magazines, including ÓThe New Yorker,Ó and Esquire.
