This is an original 1928 black and white print ad for the Eveready Prestone Anti-Freeze from the National Carbon Company of New York and San Francisco. Seen in the illustration is the U. S. Navy's dirigible the U. S. S. Los Angeles on a searching expedition. The airship was built by the Zeppelin factory in Friedrichshafen, Germany (Deutschland) between 1923 and 1924, and was partially funded by Germany's World War I war reparations.
