This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the German cruiser Koenigsberg lying in mud in the Rufiji River. The center image depicts the German cruiser Emden lying off Keeling Island in Australia. The bottom image shows the Austrian battleship Wien sinking in the harbor of Trieste, Italy (Italia).
