1904 Print Quarry Toorah Nile Tura Limestone Boat River Mining Construction XHA4

This is an original 1904 halftone print of the limestone quarries at Tura, Egypt. The stone that was mined here was of extremely good quality, and went towards such projects as the Great Pyramid at Giza.

This item is from a limited edition collection of important historical prints of Ancient Egypt produced in 1904. The edition size produced at that time was out of 1,000 and this collection of prints was numbered 763. The edition and number are not present on the individual item but rather was provided for the collection as a whole.

This 107+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine+. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is print on the verso.
