This piece was illustrated by Goya, Francisco.

Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes (1746-1828)

A creative mind with a penchant for pushing the limits of social and conceptual boundaries, Goya is often considered to have been the last of the great masters and first of the modern ones. He was the court painter to the Spanish Crown, and holds a claim to fame in that he painted the first picture of a nude women without using any allegorical pretenses to explain away her lack of clothing. A lot of his later work tended towards darker subject matter; fantasy and heavy themes prevailed, making his work both terrifying and rememberable to this day.
