This is an original 1890 black and white relief line-block print of a story from Greek Mythology showing Prometheus forming a statue which Epimetheus holds out a lump of clay. The reclining woman on the bottom personifies the Earth. Prometheus and Epimetheus were brothers and a pair of Titans who acted as representatives of mankind.
