This is an original 1931 two-color collotype of an unusual late medieval piece painted by pupils from the school of Italian artist Bartolo di Fredi. It depicts a husband and wife preparing to go to bed while a servant holds back to curtains. Interestingly, although the nude woman is already lying in bed, the pattern on the cover appears to lie flat.
