This is an original 1893 monochrome in-text lithograph map of the Siege of Bristol that took place between August 21 - September 11, 1645 CE between Royalist defenders under Prince Rupert and Parliamentarian aggressors led by Sir Thomas Fairfax during the English Civil War. The siege was a Parliamentarian victory and Prince Rupert surrendered, signed a treaty, and was dismissed from the King's service.
