This is an original 1895 black and white relief line-block map of the Battle of Salamaca, which took place on July 22nd, 1812 against the Allied forces of Britain, Portugal, and Spain, against the Imperial Army of France in Spain. The British, led by the Duke of Wellington, defeated the French forces under Marshal Auguste Marmont.
