"The Battle of the Baltic"
This is an original 1898 black and white relief line-block print of a map of the Battle of Copenhagen, Denmark that was fought on April 2, 1801 during the War of the Second Coalition that was part of the French Revolutionary Wars. The battle was fought between the British fleet under Admiral Sir Hyde Parker and the Danish-Norwegian fleet under Commodore Olfert Fischer.

This 113+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout. There is light bleedthrough on this piece from the verso. Some light surface rub. Please note that there is printing on the verso.
