This is an original 1945 black and white photogravure of a leadpoint study of men fighting. Leadpoint is a medium of drawing where the artist uses a metal-tipped lead drawing tool to create drawings. Raphael was a painter and architect of the High Renaissance period. His work is admired for its clarity of form and ease of composition and for its visual achievement of the Neoplatonic ideal of human grandeur.
