This is an original 1953 two-color print ad for aircraft engine spark plugs that were made and sold by the Champion Spark Plug Company of Toledo, Ohio (OH). The ad featured an endorsement by World War I fighter ace pilot and Medal of Honor recipient, Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, who later served as the president and general manager of Eastern Air Lines. Capt. Rickenback is pictured in front of his 1917 Spad biplane.
