This is an original 1873 halftone print of a Combined Shingle and Barrel Heading Machine, manufactured by Trevor & Company, Lockport, New York. This machines uses the Evarts principle, modified and improved by causing the saw to enter somewhat at the upper corner instead of directly into the side of the block, or bolt.

This 138+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. No tears. No water damage. Please note there is print on the reverse, and some bleed through visible on this print.
