This is a 1976 black and white reproduction of a poster that was created in 1905 to advertise the French tour of Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World. The design shows cowboys trick-riding, including one on a bucking bronco at the center of the print.
Period Paper is pleased to offer a wonderful collection of prints of posters advertising Buffalo Bill's Wild West shows. William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody (1846 Ð 1917) was an American soldier and buffalo hunter and is perhaps best known as a showman. A colorful figure, his name is synonymous with the American Old West. This is a collection that will be of interest to collectors of western Americana as well as to graphic design artists. Please note that these prints are 1976 reproductions of the original posters. These fabulous prints would look excellent framed.
