This is an original 1923 two-page black and white halftone print with a full-page portrait and a brief biographical sketch of silent film actor Conrad Nagel (1897-1970). One of the 36 founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), he started out on the stage and later became a leading actor in film. Some of his films include: "Little Women" (1918), "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" (1924), "Lights of Old Broadway" (1925), "Quality Street" (1927), "The Michigan Kid" (1928), "The Girl From Mandalay" (1936), "I Want a Divorce" (1940), and "All That Heaven Allows" (1955) among many others.
