1936 Winter Olympics Swedish Cross Country Skiers Print ORIGINAL HISTORIC IMAGE

This is an original 1936 halftone print of Elis Viklund, Axel Wikstršm, Nils Joel Englund and Hjalmar Bergstršm, the Swedish athletes who won the top four places in the 50 km cross-country skiing race at the IV Olympic Winter Games.

Period Paper is pleased to offer a collection of original halftone and color prints from the 1936 IV Olympic Winter Games in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, Germany and the Games of the XI Olympiad (the 1936 Olympic Summer Games) in Berlin. The prints were all hand tipped-in and may have some glue damage on the reverse of the image from the removal process.
