The caption writes, "Scene from Judge Lynch, which won first prize for the Dallas Little Theatre, at the Little Theatre Tournament, at the Belasco Theatre, New York, and was later presented at the Drama League Convention at Pasadena, under the direction of Oliver Hinsdell."
