This is an original 1903 black and white print ad for The Angelus hotel in Los Angeles, California and the Knutsford hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Angelus was completed in 1901. Standing at 8 stories high, the hotel was to be the tallest hotel in the city. It was estimated that the cost to construct the hotel was around $800,000 with a quarter of the funds spent on furnishings and other decor. The hotel was demolished in 1956.
