This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of gunners and weapons on the Western Front during World War II. The caption for the bottom image writes, "One of the deadly '75s,' the pride of France and the fear of the Germans, manned by American gunners. They were manufactured in abundance in the war plants of France and were placed at the disposal of our troops pending the time when our own artillery should be ready for use."
