This is an original 1878? black and white photolithograph map of the Turkish fortifications and Russian attack plans of the City of Plevna in Northern Bulgaria. The city would fall the Russians in December of 1877, but only after multiple bloody assaults and a prolonged siege, resulting is massive Russian casualties.
