This is an original 1882 hand-colored lithograph by English entomologist William Forsell Kirby (1844-1912), of several species of moths from the Bombyces family, including; the Spanish Moon Moth, Graellsia isabellae, (Fig. 1, a-c), the Lasiocampa otus, (Fig. 2), the Euprepia pudica, (Fig. 3), the Autumn Emperor Moth, Perisomena caecigena, (Fig. 4), the Endagria pantherina, (Fig. 5), the Stygia australis, (Fig. 6), and the Naclia ancilla, (Fig. 7).

This 131+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Moderate aging in margins. Light creasing. Small tear - right margin.
