This is an original 1885 black and white print ad for the "new" mineral oil Russian iron magic lantern, (also called a Laterna Magica), that was made and sold by John Browning of 63 Strand, London, England during the Victorian era. These "magic lanterns", were an early type of image projector used for educational or entertainment purposes.
