This is an original 1891 black and white in-text wood engraving of Dendera, Egypt, located near Qena. The area is most known for its Greco-Roman temple, otherwise known as Lunet, or Tantere. The temple contains the Temple of Hathor, and is considered to be one of the best preserved ancient temples in the country.
