Manet�s main artistic influences included Goya, Frans Hals, Monet, Morisot and Velazquez. Manet�s art primarily centered on nudes, social class activities, still life, Parisian caf� scenes, figures, genre, flowers, and war subjects. His works have been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Gallery in Berlin, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Salon des Refuses, the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.
