This is an original 1897 black and white halftone print that depicts Kiriath-Jearim, an ancient city mentioned in the bible as being the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. Israeli town Tel Kiryat Yearim (alternatively, Qiryat Yearim) is named after it and has been built up on the same location.
