This is an original 1898 halftone print of Admiral Cervera's Cape Verde battleship Fleet from the Scientific American Journal for May 28th. The illustrated ships are the Vizcaya, Furor, Almirante Oquendo, Christobal Colon, Pluton, Maria Teresa, and Terror.

This 113+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Heavy aging in margins. Moderate creasing.No natural defects. Some heavy surface rub. No tears. Light moisture wrinkling. Please note that there is rub from the print on the reverse. Please also note that there is a heavy amount of wrinkling and creasing.
