This is an original 1899 halftone print of the Eng Alp mountain in the Karwendel range in Tyrol, Austria. The caption is in old German, but seems to imply that the small town of Hinterriß lies nearby. It is near this area that the Maple Plain is also located, which is one of the high Alpine Meadows that makes this region particularly famous.
