This is an original 1904 sepia photogravure depicting the church of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois in Paris, France. When the Louvre was a palace, this was the church that served it. It was constructed during the 12th century, and it noted for being an instigator in the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre.
