1904 Zuni Indian Mask Warrior Salimobiya Lithograph SET - ORIGINAL ZN1

This is a set of two original 1904 color lithographs showing the front and side views of the mask of Salimobiya, the Zuni Warrior of the Zenith; and the front and side views of the mask of Salimobiya, the Zuni Warrior of the Nadir.

Period Paper has obtained an unusual collection of original color lithographs and halftone prints of images of the A:shiwi or Zuni people and culture of Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico circa 1901-1902. These lithographs and prints include images of Zuni mythology, religious ceremonies and rituals, festivals, the arts, architecture, and various portraits of the Zuni people. This collection will be of special interest to collectors of Native Americana. All images are excellent for framing.

This 107+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. No creases. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. There is some light aging in the margins--please see both images.
