This is an original 1905 color print of Little Britain which is a street in Aldersgate ward in London, England. St. Paul's Cathedral can be seen in the distance and it is a Church of England cathedral. The present building was built in the late 17th century and designed by Sir Chistopher Wren as part of a massive rebuilding project after the Great Fire of London destroyed much of the city.

Marshall, Herbert Menzies

English painter and illustrator Herbert Menzies Marshall (1814-1913) was born in Leeds and studied at both Westminster School and Cambridge University. He soon discovered that watercolors were his passion, and due to his great talent, he was able to exhibit at such places as the Royal Academy. Later in life, he became a professor at Queen's College, teaching his students the fine art of landscape painting.
