This is an original 1906 halftone print of a piece by Dutch Golden Age painter Jan Steen (1626-1679). Born in Leiden, the Netherlands, he was noted for his sense of humor and use of color in his works, as well as co-founding the painter's Guild of Saint Luke in his hometown. This piece is entitled "The Steen Family."
